Millie’s mentoring isn’t just “football specific” or “sport specific”. The range of challenges Millie has faced are relatable to many people. Having navigated life while managing OCD and anxiety this provides valuable insights for the participant. Your session can range from your choice of specifics or a simple Q&A. There is no pressure attached your session.
Can I book Millie as a guest speaker?
If you are looking for an inspiring guest speaker, a mentor to engage with young athletes, a professional sportsperson to share their journey of struggles and challenges. Millie has a wealth of experience in public speaking and community engagement. This includes school assemblies, meet-and-greets, talks at football clubs, coaching clinics, and seminar participation. How regularly should I schedule my mentoring appointments with Millie?
Scheduling mentoring sessions every fortnight can help ensure consistent progress. This approach helps maintain accountability and provides ongoing support. However if you prefer a more flexible plan, we can adjust however suits you. We understands that everybody is different. If a monthly check-in suits you better, or if you prefer a more spontaneous approach with a Q&A session, we are more than happy to accommodate to your needs. Ultimately, the structure of your sessions are entirely up to you and what works best for you.
Does Millie offer professional advice?
Millie is not a licensed therapist or psychologist. Her role as a mentor is to offer guidance and advice based on her personal experiences and knowledge. Any advice or suggestions she provides are intended to support and encourage personal growth, but they are not a substitute for professional counselling or therapy.
Do I need to read Millie’s Book?
Reading Millie’s book is not required, however this will provide you with a better insight to the experiences Millie has faced. If you wish to order the book you can find it by clicking “Products”.
Why did Millie want to start Mentoring?
Millie feels she can really have an impact off the back of writing Brave Enough Not To Quit, her interest in mentoring stems from her own journey as an athlete. Having experienced the highs and lows of professional football, she understands how important guidance and support is. Creating Millie Farrow mentoring is a step in the right direction to help bridge the gap for many individuals who may be navigating similar challenges. Her goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where the client feels heard, empowered, and equipped to handle both the demands of sport and life.
